Mrs. Fregenia Moore-Robinson, EdS, retired, has thirty-two years of service in the Memphis City/ Shelby County Schools in Memphis, Tennessee. My diverse roles in the 32 years of education include: Teaching K-5th grades, Presentations at: District/School In-services, Professional Development Sessions, and Teacher/Parent Meetings. I have also served in administrative/professional roles such as: Master Teacher, Alternate Assistant Principal in Principals’ absence, Grade Chair, Program Coordinator, Mentor for New Teachers/Student-Teachers, Model classroom for Teachers/Assist Teachers in classroom decor/floorplan, After School Program Instructor, and Modeled Effective classroom Instruction for Teachers/ Board Members/ Student Teachers/ and Administrators. These various roles have equipped me with the skills to relate effectively and productively with students, teachers, parents, administrators, and to become an Entrepreneur as Sole-Ownership of FMR Educational Services.
Social and communication skills development has drastically changed over the years, and children are suffering from a lack thereof. After all the tragedy that has occurred to the youth in schools, I have created a business FMR Educational Services to promote an anti-bullying movement by educating parents, educators, community leaders, and students to become knowledgeable of all aspects of bullying and conflict resolution. In addition, I am the Founder and Executive Director of a Nonprofit 501(c)3 Organization entitled Life Changing Youth Services, Inc. My goal is to target children in the 38109 and 38106 zip codes. This is a low economic, high crime area of Memphis, TN where youth need various skills to become productive and successful members of the 21st Century. Servicing others in a capacity that produces a favorable outcome is ultimate gratification for me.
